Liver functions in children with dengue fever at a tertiary medical centre in central india

This study was conducted to understand the abnormalities in liver functions in children with Dengue fever and its associations with the outcome. Method: Aim of this study was to assess liver functions SGOT (AST) & SGPT(ALT), Serum Albuminin children with Dengue fever. Objective: Tostudyassociation ofliver function tests with clinical stages of dengue fever and outcome with the severity of liver enzymes. ThisProspectivestudy was conducted inPaediatricwardsofNKPSIMS & LMH,Nagpur (MS), Indiafrom1st January 2019 to31st December 2019 .Duringthestudyperiod124childrenin the age groupupto 18 yrspresenting with fever and positive serology for denguewere included in the study .
