Guillain-Barre Syndrome during Post-Partum Period: A Rare Entity

Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) is a serious post-infectious immune-mediated neuropathy presented with diminished reflexes and resultant weakness. Global report on GBS depicted an incidence of 1 to 4 cases per 100,000 annually and carries a high maternal risk. It is very rare among post-partum women.
