Antioxidant Action of Green Tea Extract in Alloxan-Induced Diabetic Albino Rats: An Experimental Laboratory-Based Study

Background: Green tea extract can regulate blood sugar and encourage weight loss due to its high antioxidant content. Several studies have shown that green tea extract can improve general health and may help protect against many diseases. Most patients with diabetes are associated with poor fertility. Aim of the work: The present study aimed to evaluate the importance of green tea extract supplementation in reducing metabolic abnormalities associated with alloxan-induced diabetes in male albino rats. Material and Methods: This study was conducted on thirty male albino rats with an average weight of 100 grams-110 grams.
