    Is There a Link Between Diabetes and Breast Cancer?

    Introduction: Breast cancer is the most common of all cancers worldwide. It is rare among men of all ages and women less than 30 years. Incidence rates increase over a lifetime, slowing down around menopause. National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Egypt reported that breast cancer represents 35.1% of all female cancers. Both Diabetes and breast cancer are common chronic diseases in women. Nearly 16% of breast cancer patients have diabetes. Aim: This study was aiming to assess the level of CD44 and ILGF 1 in female patients with breast cancer with and without type II diabetes mellitus.
